Warranty on products

Carry in warranty means that you offer / send (carriage paid) the product to us. After repair/replacement the product will be delivered back to your home after repair via one of our carriers.

It is possible to choose Pickup & Delivery warranty while configuring your notebook. All adjustments and changes made by us in products are handled by our Technical Department and can be chosen during the configuration of your notebook.

Pickup & Delivery means that the product is collected from you by a carrier assigned by XNotebooks® and after repair the product is delivered back to your home via a carrier assigned by us.

It is possible to choose Pickup & Delivery warranty while configuring your notebook. All adjustments and changes made by us in products are handled by our Technical Department and can be chosen during the configuration of your notebook.

If you order or are offered the bright pixel guarantee with your notebook, we will check the notebook for the presence of Bright Pixels, these are pixels in the colours Green, Red or Blue that constantly light up, you should check your notebook upon receipt and if bright pixels are present, you should report this to us within 8 days. We use ISO 13406-2 class II if you do not order a Brightpixel warranty.

Cable breakage of the power adapters supplied with the notebooks is not covered by the warranty, so be careful not to roll up or pressurize the cable, especially at the output of the adapter, as in most cases a breakage will occur over time.

Sometimes it is difficult to determine whether a problem arises from software and whether it is a hardware defect. This is because all hardware is controlled by BIOS/FIRMWARE and software.

Warning! If you use a different bios and/or firmware than that of the original manufacturer (flash), the warranty on the entire notebook will immediately expire.

Your notebook and its components can be severely damaged / malfunctioned, overheating and also the failure on boots is common and is not covered by warranty, we can check this after the notebook has come to us for repair! Always think about what happens when a problem occurs? For example, if you have installed a driver or performed a Windows update after which the problem has arisen. Xnotebooks® recommends that you first follow a repair procedure at all times. In most cases a recovery procedure will solve your problem.

Don’t worry, you can always request a repair by requesting an RMA number by e-mail to td@xnotebooks.com stating your name, notebook type, complaint description and invoice number. If it concerns a hardware related problem we will investigate your notebook and solve the problem. Xnotebooks® will contact you at all times as soon as the problems are related to a defect which cannot be dealt with under the standard warranty conditions. XNotebooks® will never carry out a repair without permission or approval and a charge will be made. If the faulty device is returned without permission, XNotebooks® will charge standard examination/labour costs. After receipt of payment, XNotebooks® will return the device.

If your notebook has a hardware defect, we advise you to send it in its original packaging as this will protect the notebook optimally. It happens regularly that customers send the notebook in a much too large box without enough padding material, and therefore the notebook can be seriously damaged during transport and you as a customer will be charged for this damage. Of course, any damage will be reported to you immediately upon arrival. You are responsible for the shipment to us!
